Working with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Unique Clean have been awarded the contract for the clinical clean at the new build multi million pound 17,000 sq ft acute medical unit at Royal Blackburn Hospital. The extension is now built on an existing staff car park and directly linked to the four-storey hospital, which was completed in 2006. Cleaning works are scheduled to start mid November, with less than 1 week allowed from start to finish. Works are all subject to clinical inspection from infection control to guarantee safe handover to the NHS. The contract was awarded following the same works being completed at Burnley General Hospital late last year on their new extension.
